It is now late March within the UK or should I even say spring so why are we seeing rain and snow in the UK?
This last Sunday, a delightful St Paddy’s Day was anything but weather wise. Effectively it was a washout with lots of rain all day.
Enjoying a lazy Sunday in the conservatory with my bride-to-be we couldn’t help but notice the rain drops become whiter and bigger and bigger.
Even though the temperature outside was not freezing we were surprised to see snow dropping into the rain fall.
We found having a glass ceiling on the conservatory allowed us to enjoy this magical moment. I love the sound of rainfall on a conservatory roof. I’ve now found a new love; watching snow fall onto the roof whilst sat underneath it.
This video does not quite do it justice but at least gives you an element of the magic of snow and rain in the UK.
