Les Deux Alpes: A Resort for All Proficiencies

Nestled in the dizzy heights of the Southern Alps, Les Deux Alpes is a perfect, well-rounded resort to suit all ages. Perfect for families, mates and couples, there’s something for everyone both on and off the well-groomed pistes.

Whether you feel at home on the slopes, wish to experience the après ski facilities or you’d love to try some of the various other attractions within the resort, you can ensure that your days and evenings are as hectic or as relaxed as your personal preferences suggest.

Whether you’ve never clicked yourself into a pair of skis before or you are experienced enough to tackle the black runs, there are plenty of pisted runs and cross country trails to keep you busy throughout the day.

For the Beginners

There’s a myriad of wide, easy runs at the top of the glacier and nursery slopes closer to the resort. Enrol in one of the local ski schools to get a little practice in and, if you’re feeling brave, you can head from the top to the bottom in one fell swoop! That’s 8km in total, so make sure your stamina is ready for it!

For the Intermediates

With a range of blue and red runs available, intermediate skiers have plenty of choice. Take to the glacier of Mont de Lans; with a 2270km vertical descent, it’ll be a thrilling way to test your skills a little more.

For the Experts

From black runs to off-piste trails, experts are well-looked after in Les Deux Alpes. There are five different off-piste domains to choose from and a plethora of vertical drops to choose from if you’re brave enough.

For the Boarders

The resort of Les Deux Alpes is considered to be one of the best for boarders, with a terrain park and two boarder-cross courses to sample.

That is an amazing picture! I am not into skiing as I hate all cold weather sports, but this looks like a great spot to ski.

Good it’s something for beginners. Although the place looks fantastic, I would not be able to handle it on my own. I’m way too weak for the climbing.

Hi Agness. I think beginners slopes is as far as I would get. Thank goodness for ski-lifts, I don’t fancy the climb either.
